CA1.伴随着有很多的问题需要解决,新上任的总统将会度过一个很艰难的时期.2.伴随着很多问题已经解决,总统应该不会度过一个很麻烦的时期分清世态就可以了第一题由于问题还没解决,所以用不定式表将来,将要解决第二题是已经解决了,所以用settled表完成

i agree with maynot. settle can't be used in a present continuous tense.so D is not correct.

1. none of the choices is correct. The correct answer should be "to settle" which is a bare infinitive meaning a lot of problems are waiting for the president to solve.2. being settled the present continuous tense shows problems are being solved, therefore they can predict that the president will not have a hard time in the future.
