whatever的范围比no matter what大．no matter what只能用与让步状语从句，whatever除了用与让步状语从句外还可以用于名词性从句．如No matter what you say,I will not change my mind.这是一个让步状语从句，可以用whatever换．但I will give you whatever I have.则是名词性从句，不能用no matter what换．不知是否清楚？
