1。need , want。 require, be worth 等用ving 主动式 表被动意义。The film is worth seeing 。The blackboard needs cleaning。2。 wash, write , sell等词 后接well表示布料好洗，笔书写流畅，东西畅销等时用主动形式表达被动意义。The pen writes well。the cloth washes well。The goods sells well。3。 不定式做定语时， 如果句子的主语就是该不定式的逻辑主语， 一般用主动表被动；I have something to do 。He has an importnat meeting to attend。但如果不是逻辑主语就要用被动式；Do you have anything to be taken there?。
